I will begin by welcoming my niche contest and the airhawk-project family back from the long break they went due to the SP leasing issues. I am happy to participate again in this contest.

It's a new year and a new beginning for me. I am optimistic, hoping that this year would be far better than the previous years.

My expectations for 2018

I expect this year to be peaceful unlike the previous year. Last year, we had issues of the Fulani herdsmen attacks in Nigeria which led to the lost of many lives in the country. This caused sorrows and pains for many family and the state was in chaos. In this year, I want such issues to be addressed and settled by the government so that all of us would live in peace and harmony.

I want the economy of Nigeria to improve. Thanks be to God, Nigeria was taken out of recession last year but still, things are still the way the were. Prices of goods and commodities are still high and this is affecting every individual in the country. I expect the economy to be stabled this year so that the common man can also cope.

I expect all issues of tribal sentiments to be avoided. People should not be judged based on where they come from or what group they belong but by the content of thier character and what they can offer because the society belongs to everyone and the good of it, benefits all.

Things I Hope To Complete Before The Year Runs Out

I love fashion and I have always have interest in styling. This year, I intend to enrole in a fashion school. This is to help me learn the rudiments of fashion and styling so that I can start making my own cloths and in future, make it commercial.

I also hope to relocate to a better apartment. My present accommodation is not good enough and it is very far from where I work. If I am able to make enough money, I will surely move to a better place this year.

I got a small piece of land to start rearing chickens last year but I could not complete the project due to insufficient funds. But am hopefull to complete it this year. I have been able to secure and clear the land. Next is to construct cages and to buy all the necessary items needed before commencing.

What I couldn't Achieve Last Year But Hope To Achieve This Year

I applied for a master degree program in University of Lagos but I was not given addmission because of my poor performance in the aptitude test. This year I will still apply, hoping to get it.

At the beginning of last year, I made two resolutions (personal) but I could not keep to them. I felt bad about this and this year, I made those same resolutions with a strong intention of achieving them at any cost.

I started a gim class session last year because I wanted to get a flat stomach but after three weeks, I stopped. I stopped not because I was not interested again but because of the stress, my work and other activities that usually take my time. This year, I am going back to the gim and I will ensure that my flat stomach dream is achieved.
