It was a sad day for the people of Benue State Nigeria as they ushered in the new year in tears.
The Fulani herdsmen invaded a small village within the state and massarchered over 73 persons with so many others displaced. This incident many have condemned and called on the government to address the issue.
Today, 11th January, the whole state gathered at the IBB square in Makurdi for the mass burial in honour of the deceased. This day will forever be remembered in Benue State.
Let us stop the killing and make our country a better place. May their souls rest in peace. AMEN.
