Al llegar vi este maravilloso ejemplar, me pareció precioso, imponente pensé era el rey del lugar sin embargo la realidad era otra.

Hoy les quiero contar de unos bellos ejemplares que se encuentran en un lugar muy lindo que conocí, donde conviven en perfecta armonía y además son todos preciosos. El lugar a pesar de no ser un zoológico ni una granja de contacto cuenta con unos hermosos animales dignos de ver.

Cuidar la naturaleza es deber de todos, cuidar la flora y la fauna es parte del respeto y de la preservación de nuestro planeta y en este lugar lo que me encanta a diferencia de un zoológico es que todos estos bellos animales están libres sin jaulas ni encierros, es más son parte de la familia.

El lugar es amplio, fresco, de temperatura agradable y con mucha vegetación, es un espacio que invita a la paz y al relax y el plus lo dan estos bellos animales que es todo un espectáculo ver.

De ese pequeño paraíso lo primero que me llamó la atención fue un impresionante Pavo Real Blanco, debo confesar que jamás habia visto uno, ni siquiera sabía que existían.

Y es que resulta que esos Pavos Reales Blancos son producto de una mutación genética llamada Leucismo que evita que los colores se depositen en las plumas, esto me resultó de verdad facinamte, a mí me pareció algo así como un bello vestido de novia con encajes y flecos.

The first thing that caught my attention in this small paradise was an impressive White Peacock, I must confess that I had never seen one, I did not even know they existed.

Resulta que esos ejemplares tan extraordinarios son los machos, a diferencia de los humanos donde las mujeres somos las que usamos maquillaje y nos ponemos despampanantes, en el caso de los pavoreales y otros animales más es el macho el vistoso, el lleno de color y hermosura.

Las hembras por el contrario llevan plumas ordinarias sin mucho color o vistosidad. Los machos tienen algo así como un harem, tienen a varias hembras, las cuidan y evitan a toda costa su acercamiento con aquel pavo blanco de imponente presencia.

Tienen además unas Guacamayas preciosas, la primera llegó sola y se acostumbró al lugar, la otra la llevaron muy maltratada porque estaba encerrada, cautiva en un lugar donde las comercializaban y fue rescatada, tienen a una tercera que también llegó y le gustó el lugar pero es muy territorial y aún no se adapta mucho con las otras dos.

Ellas están libres y eso es lo mejor de todo, vuelan y de dezolazan a su antojo, van y vienen según sus deseos, pasean y luego regresan a su hogar donde les proporcionan cuidados y cariño.

Sus colores son hermosos y sus ganas de hacer ruido son proporcionales a su energía, sus gritos o garridos arropan todo el patio pareciera lo hicieran para llamar la batención.

They also have some beautiful Macaws, the first one arrived alone and got used to the place, the other one was taken very mistreated because it was locked up, captive in a place where they were commercialized and was rescued, they have a third one that also arrived and liked the place but it is very territorial and still does not adapt much with the other two.

La sensación de tranquilidad en ese lugar es impresionante, solo falta una churuata con unas alcallatas para guindar una hamaca, recostarse y tomar una taza de café bien caliente.

It is a whole animal community living happily in that habitat, created especially for them, I am very happy when I see these actions, how the fauna of our nature is respected and valued, people who are dedicated to the care but without confinement, of animal life.

The feeling of tranquility in that place is impressive, the only thing missing is a hut with a hammock to hang a hammock, lie down and have a cup of hot coffee.

Le pregunté a los dueños del lugar sobre la relación de los Pavos Reales machos, es decir el tradicional azul con el blanco, y resulta que el Pavo Real Blanco es rechazado por su color o por ser diferente, el resto lo ataca cuándo puede y le buscan a picotear sus plumas.

La majestuosidad de ambos es hermosa, pero me parece que el blanco quizá por ser diferente llama mucho la atención, es todo un espectáculo cuándo abre sus plumas aún sin ningún color nos deslumbra con su porte y su sola presencia.

Estos animalitos además de ser libres y de contar con un gran espacio acondicionado para ellos tienen además la libertad de entrar a la casa, de pasear por sus pasillos y moverse a su disposición.

El Pavo Real azul especialmente, entra a la casa con una actitud majestuosa, su caminar es de elegante y delicado. Se siente parte de la familia y así lo ven sus dueños. Qué bueno saber hay quienes se dedican a preservar bajo el respeto y el valor a nuestra fauna venezolana.

The blue Peacock especially, enters the house with a majestic attitude, his walk is elegant and delicate. It feels part of the family and that is how its owners see it. It is good to know that there are those who are dedicated to preserve under the respect and value to our Venezuelan fauna.

Un dato curioso y no sé si ocurre con todos, pero esos Pavos en particular hacen algo muy peculiar, ¡no lo podia creer! pero si les acercas un espejo abren su cola y se quedan rato allí frente al espejo, admirando su belleza jaja. Esto me pareció muy gracioso, de verdad que son unos animales tipo de la Realeza y vanidosos además.

Así que mi impresión fue errónea, pensé ese Pavo Real Blanco era el Rey y resultó ser como un plebeyo, rechazado por sus pares por ser diferente. Sin embargo este animalito ni se deprime ni se le baja su estima pues cada vez que puede abre su espléndida cola y desfila como si estuviera en una pasalera con muchos paparazzi atentos a captar su belleza.

Admiro a estas personas que han dedicado de su tiempo y recursos para que todos estos animalitos estén allí cuidados y en perfecto estado, viviendo en armonía hombre-naturaleza-ciudad.

A curious fact and I don't know if it happens with everyone, but those particular Turkeys do something very peculiar, I couldn't believe it! but if you bring a mirror close to them they open their tails and stay there for a while in front of the mirror, admiring their beauty haha. I found this very funny, they really are royalty type animals and vain too.

So my impression was wrong, I thought that White Peacock was the King and it turned out to be like a commoner, rejected by his peers for being different. However, this little animal is neither depressed nor his esteem is lowered because every time he can he opens his splendid tail and parades as if he were in a parade with many paparazzi attentive to capture his beauty.

I admire these people who have dedicated their time and resources so that all these animals are cared for and in perfect condition, living in harmony man-nature-city.
