Hey hey I'm back and I feel bad for falling asleep in this. Monday sucked and drained out all my energy. Also, I was very tired yesterday because we had to move our lab equipment to the new lab under construction. In the end, we only got to move stuff and I didn't get to sketch as much as I wanted to when I got home. It sucks but it is what it is.

I actually sketch traditionally a lot too. I know you see me do digital pretty often, but I do think I spend more time doing traditional sketches than anything

Progression shots:

I mostly get told that the things I draw come out quite morbid since I think my depression seeps into these pieces a little too much. But then, if you can't feel any of my emotions through my artwork, then it means I just failed as an artist in the end.

And if we're talking about styles then I usually go for monotones and two tones than anything since it's easier on the paper and on my pens 馃槄

Progression shots:

At times, I think my pieces just look a little sad and hopeless like I generally do. Either way, I don't mind what people think, I just need to express my current mood at that time.

These are my favourite pieces from my art journal but be sure to expect more of my art journal pieces as the days go by
