As铆 que por m铆 salud, no hab铆a mejor opci贸n que...
Ya muchas veces he combatido contra 茅ste criatura, por lo que sab铆a que nuestro mazo todav铆a no estaba preparado para una batalla as铆.
C贸mo podr谩n imaginarse est谩 interacci贸n est谩 totalmente rota.
Por lo que la victoria 茅ra inevitable 馃槒.
Hello everyone again! The reality is that I had put together this post for Monday of this week. But several things happened so it took a while. But as I always tell you, without fear of success! I chose a game, which was relatively calm since as you may know, I'm still getting better from the inguinal hernia operation I had recently and I can neither speak so loud nor laugh at all LOL. So for my health, there was no better option than...
Right off the bat, in Slay the Spire it is extremely vital to choose which reward or bonus we will start the game with.
Depending on how far we got in our previous game, is how good they can be. Including the quantity, since there can be from 2 to 4 different options.
Being all the options presented more or less bad, I decided to lean towards the one I liked the most, although it was also somewhat dangerous.. "Receive a curse. Receive a random rare Relic"
Explaining a little how this is, a curse is a card that can generate negative states in our character and, in turn, takes the place of a normal card, expanding our deck and making it difficult for us to draw good cards for confrontations.
On the other hand, the relics work to give passive or active abilities to our character. Rares often have very powerful effects. This time I was lucky and touched a kind of rudder, which gave me 18 blocks in each battle on the third turn. Pretty strong I must say.
Throughout the game, many things can happen. But I wanted to show you one of my favorite interactions in the game. Since something that adds Slay the Spire in addition to unjustified violence against creatures in a dungeon and cards. It is the one of "encounters" where we can make different decisions, each one with its specific result.
I really like it when we can have this style of crossroads in games, it's just very pleasant.
Another important aspect within the game is that in the battles we can find "elite creatures" which are clearly much stronger than the normal ones and whenever they are defeated, they leave a normal relic and very rarely a rare one.
In this case I had to fight against "Idiot Gremlin" which inevitably causes one to constantly take damage, since it has a passive ability, which increases the damage every time we use an ability card, which are mainly the way to defend to our character. You can imagine that the fight against the Gremlin is simply battling until one of the two falls dead HAHAHA.
In the first boss fight in today's game. We meet a giant Slime. I have already fought against this creature many times, so I knew that our deck was not yet ready for such a battle. He had very low expectations of winning.
Using all the means that the game provides us, a "Power Potion", gave me the card "Demon Form" which automatically made the battle turn into a sure victory if I could extend it long enough. Since, what this card does, is to increase at the beginning of each turn, 2 strength points to our character. Which basically translates to 2 damage on each card. Without this it would have been impossible to get past the first boss I think.
In fact, one of the rewards for defeating him was the same card but permanently added to the deck. Excellent service, 10 out of 10.
As the game progressed, the "Strength" deck quickly spiraled out of control. I think I had never managed to create a deck as solid as this one. I am totally proud of my creation LOL.
Having such high strength levels, every card that maybe isn't really strong manages to deal considerable damage and becomes totally broken.
"Grim Reaper," which is a card that normally deals 4 damage and heals that damage to the caster, ended up doing 32 damage to 3 different creatures. How you can imagine this interaction is totally broken. I healed so much life that from that point I already knew that the game was almost won.
In fact, in another battle I had 120 strength points. Having a normal Act 3 boss around 400 health, you can imagine that's an exaggerated amount of brute force. So victory was inevitable
