Today, I found a beautiful little beetle while walking around the garden. This beetle has a distinctive glossy black color with a striking orange pattern on its back. It was perched on the tip of a leaf, looking calm even though I came closer to take a picture of it.

This beetle belongs to the genus Aulacocheilus, which usually lives around wild plants. I found it on a leaf of a wild plant near a bush. This kind of environment is perfect for this type of beetle, especially since they often forage on small plants.

In this observation, I used a macro lens to capture the details of its color and body shape. It was interesting to see the color pattern more clearly through the lens! Plus, the natural dark background made this beetle stand out even more in the photo.

If any of you have experience or more information about beetles from this genus, please share. It's always fun to learn together from nature!
