There was still no snow at this time a year ago. But there were night frosts and the first ice on the lake. This is one of the distant lakes on the Karelian Isthmus. It stands among forests and has an island in the middle.
Год назад в это время ещё не было снега. Но были ночные морозы и первый лёд на озере. Это одно из дальних озёр на Карельском перешейке. Оно стоит среди лесов и имеет остров по середине.
We were invited by our friends to celebrate the birthday of one of them. I will not say that the weather was favorable for walking with a camera. But I could not help but do it.
In fact, it doesn't matter what the weather is, it matters where you are and with whom.
