For the past few weeks, I have been observing the markets. It is always hard to understand why the price pumps suddenly and how it stops pumping. From what I see there is a heavy market cap on Hive right now up to 45 BTC. People are also moving their Hive holdings to exchanges to sell them. Today just in the last hour, Hive had a huge pump from 1600 Satoshi to around 2500 Satoshi. I'm not sure if this is going to be a temporary pump or a stable pump. For people who bought Hive when the price was 1200 Satoshi, this is a fun time. They can double their holdings by selling it for the current price.
I'm sure many people have already started selling their Hive holdings for 2400 Satoshi now reaping the profit. But in spite of all the selling, I guess there is still heavy buying going on to keep the price stable at that range. I also notice that the price of the Hive is currently a little higher than the Steem price which is a good thing. Now people might regret not selling Steem when the price was high and for not buying Hive at a low price.
I also have the same thought. Yesterday when I saw the price of Hive going down a little, I did place a buy order for 1550 Satoshi which was my previous buy order. But unfortunately, the buy order was not filled. If it was filled, I would have also reaped a good profit from trading. I guess there would be people like me who regret not purchasing more Hive at a low price. But I'm sure in the crypto world, there will always be opportunities. If not, I'm sure there will definitely be opportunities to purchase Hive again for a low price.
When Hive was listed the price went over 3000 Satoshi and I bought it at that price believing that the price would go up. The price even though it dropped below 1500 Satoshi after that is now increasing to reach the 3000 mark which is very good. I will now wait for the next opportunity to trade some Hive tokens. But I have to be honest that I did trade some Hive on Steem Engine during this short period. I was flipping between Hivep and Steemp and made a little profit out of it.
