It has been many days since I wrote a post about splinterlands. I also realized that I have not been writing any gaming posts lately. Today was the start of a new season and I still had a few more games to complete to complete my daily quest. After I successfully completed the daily quest for the day, I noticed that my ratings was on an all time high with over 4100 points.
I then realized it would be good to give it a try for Champion II league. I usually end my season in Champion III league as I couldn't progress further. I have tried in the past but couldn't make it. This time I just did a little push and I was able to make it to the next league. It was indeed a great experience to reach Champion II league and get 120 loot chests.
Today while starting to play, I realized that I had not been spending enough time playing the game these days. I hardly spend some time to complete the daily quests. I see many people who play really well and even make use of their energy capture rate effectively. I don't know if I got bored with this game or I don't have enough time to spend here, but I keep dragging.
But as a motivating factor, when the season ends and after I see the rewards from the season, I get some good energy to start playing again. I guess that energy will last for a few days and then gradually fade away. But this time I'm thinking of prolongating that energy a little longer. It is just that the game is consuming a lot of time from me. If I start playing the game, I don't just end it with the completion of the quest alone. Instead I start organizing my deck and that will take a lot of time from me.
I know it is definitely good to keep the deck organized but I will have to try to keep it in such a way that this is not very exhausting for me. If I spend little time every day on organizing cards, I guess it wouldn't be very exhausting and not as if I'm spending a lot of time on this game.
I was also very happy to take a look at the stats. This is the first time I'm reaching that much rating as well. I did not imagine that I would be able to reach this far with the cards that I currently have. But still my rank is not looking very great as I understand that there are so many players playing splinterlands. I wish this window shows some more stats. It is mentioned that the achievements would be coming soon but there is no progress in terms of fancy UI improvements.
I hope soon the game becomes better as the value of DEC is dropping so much. It is a good opportunity for long term investors but at the same time if DEC supply keeps increasing like this without a proper demand, many people would start dumping their cards and that can lead to further problems.
