Increase in the number of solar based devices

Recently I bought two devices online that operate on Solar. In the coming years I think the demand for Solar energy will start increasing. There is a huge awareness of consuming solar energy and it is also becoming cheap to implement solar energy in hour houses with the help of the government. There is a high chance that electricity as a whole can get cheaper if more homes start producing energy on their rooftop and sends it to the grid.

Coming back to the devices, I got a chance to purchase a few lights that work with Solar. I had a problem in my house where if I had to go upstairs I had to cross a dark path. It is risky because we will not know what's in the steps and if we stamp on something, then it is not good. I was looking for an innovative light option. I then found out a light that operates on Solar power.

The cost of the light was a bit high but I noticed that there were decent reviews on the product and people also said that it was very useful for them and was also a powerful choice. I wanted to give it a try so I bought one light just to experiment how it works out for me. I have installed it in the middle of my stairs and so far it looks good as I have been using it for a month already. I will try to write a detailed review of that product if possible.

Similar to this I also bought a few more decorative lights. All these solar devices consume the Sun's energy during the daytime and when it gets dark they emit light. Some products have sensors where it gets switched on only if the sensor is triggered. Other products are always on after dark and the next day when the sun is back they get switched off again and starts charging from the light.

Today I was looking for some more products and I noticed several options that works with a small panel or with one full panel. Today even bigger use cases are available for example we can run a motor pump with just one solar panel and this setup is readily available and is also being used by many people as DIY stuff.

I have been looking for a small mobile charger that would work with solar panels. I couldn't get anything that is branded and also reliable. Maybe it is not sustainable yet. I was able to see some that was used by people going camping but in India the options were limited. Lights are the most successful solar gadget that one can get and there are many types of LED lights available that grab power through solar and operates during the night. MI also introduced a CCTV camera that used solar power to operate. I haven't checked the product yet but this is something that can be used in places that has no access to electricity.
