Hello minnows, dolphins and concerned whales, hope that doesn't sound offensive because I also fall under the minnow category. It's been a while since we started this encouragement series. And today, we'll be talking a few steps further.
For those who follow my previous articles on THE MINNOW SCHOOL, I hope it's been an exciting time. On my last post I talked about CURATION. To understand more refer here.
Today we'll be dealing with a vital aspect to improve our sense of commitment to what we do. And hope you remember the #1 rule? "LOVE WHAT STEEMIANS DO". In other words, write!
A friend of mine after several attempts was able to reach a whale-whom he has been pestering for quite some time. He expressed his brokenness and discouragement in a meticulous manner. But the reply he got was educating and also fascinating.
This platform was heralded by a few group of people-then minnows but now whales, who had to grow and learn the hard way. Steemit is so attractive because of the idea of awesome witnesses. Then there no whales. Most of us who have done our homework would understand the implication of the proceeding statement. Steemit without whales means minnows will be responsible for their own growth. We know how much an upvote from a whale or dolphin does to our reputation score. Imagine steemit without this boosts.
Whales of today used to be minnows yesterday. Hey noob, listen, if you give up now because it's hard on you. They also had the chance to give up but they never did. And if giving up ever occurs as an option to you, maybe you ain't meant to be here. Your giving up today would affect the minnows of tomorrow. You'd be their mentors, role models and source of hope. So keep the pen up.
STEEMIANS ARE FIGHTERS AND BY THE IMPLICATION OF THAT, THEY DON'T EVER GIVE UP.
Listen, this is not an excuse on behalf of these whales. We could make facts out of this. Right after reading this post I want you do something for me. Select five accounts you wish were yours and go on to their first posts on steemit. Once you're done you'd realize that it only takes a couple of months.
I'd pick up from here next time. So we dig a little bit deeper. Keep working hard, never compromise standards and most importantly avoid plagiarism. If you ever run out of ideas hold on for a while, it would come.
