Hello everyone
Phang Nga Province is adjacent to Phuket in the Andaman Sea zone, with crystal clear waters, and white sandy beaches which are equally beautiful. Today I will take everyone to see the beauty of a large group of limestone rocks that appear to emerge in the middle of Phang Nga Bay. New Phang Nga Province is a very popular place.
"Samet Nangshe" is located in Ban Hin Rom Takua Thung Subdistrict, Phang Nga Province, about 30 kilometers from Phuket Province. This is our first trip to "Samet Nangshe". We set off from my house around 10 a.m. and kept following the GPS, not in a hurry. It took about 40 minutes. We prayed throughout the journey that the skies were clear and it didn't rain. Fortunately, the skies were clear and it didn't rain.
On both sides of the road, we drove into a small road winding along the rubber plantations and palm plantations of the villagers. The atmosphere is beautiful with a large palm grove that looks very shady. At some point, we will see high mountains in the background. Around 10.40 am, we arrive at the parking area and sell tickets to see the view at "Samed Nangshe"
Tourists cannot take a car up to the "Samet Nangshe" viewpoint and must park in the lower parking area only.
Near the parking area, there are a few small shops selling souvenirs, drinks, fruits, and snacks for tourists.
There is a small counter here selling tickets for going up to the "Samed Nangshe" viewpoint, which is about 500 meters from the parking lot. If walking up to the viewpoint, there will be a service charge of 30 baht per person. But take the pickup shuttle, there will be a service fee of 90 baht per person. We choose to take the pickup shuttle to go up to the viewpoint above. Because we prepared a bag full of props for taking photos.😜 It would not be possible to walk up to the viewpoint area.
After purchasing our tickets, we wait for the pickup shuttle for about 5 minutes. The pickup shuttle takes tourists from the "Samet Nangshe" viewpoint and arrives at the parking area.
The distance to the "Samet Nangshe" viewpoint is about 500 meters, but it is a winding and steep path. Along the way, you will see a large limestone in the middle of Phang Nga Bay.
Before we go up to the "Samet Nangshe" viewpoint, the information that we know is that the distance from the parking point to the viewpoint is 500 meters. But we feel that 500 meters are equal to 2 kilometers? Because we feel that the journey takes almost 20 minutes to reach the destination, haha.
This is the rainy season, so tourists are not crowded. So we were able to take pictures comfortably without being pressured while taking pictures.😜
When girls get together when they go on vacation, there's nothing much else other than taking pictures. We took pictures of the restaurant area where the day we went the restaurant was closed. Which is very unfortunate because we haven't had breakfast yet. It was already past noon, but we weren't hungry at all. Because he was so focused on taking pictures we forgot our hunger.
The viewpoint area "Samet Nangshe" is on a hill, not very wide. But the view in front is beautiful and catches everyone's eye. In the foreground is a large limestone shaped like a whale's fin. And many limestone hills are rising above Phang Nga Bay it's very beautiful scenery.
The atmosphere is very good, the sky is clear and the view is very beautiful. But we only spent about an hour admiring and taking pictures because it rained heavily out of the blue and there was no sign of stopping at all. We ran to escape from the rain in the restaurant and thought the rain would stop. But we waited in vain. An hour later, the rain had not stopped. So we took the pickup shuttle back to the car park to go back to Phuket.
