God I love this anime too much, I love how you described it, it's crazy addictive, I remember when I was watching it I watched half of the anime in one day and the other half the next, a genius as in each episode the group evolved and also told you the past, and a kind of short films where the fight of the last chapter was shown. Faye Valentine was also my crush ;).
