To be honest, I just assumed the yield he kept dumping in these reports was just the difference between the cost of all purchases and the current value of the entire holding.
So, essentially the profit. Certainly never thought of it as any real yield in any way but what's even funnier about these Strategy purchases is how people now term it "synthetic halving" of Bitcoin.
Lmao, what?
Is Strategy burning the supply because that's the only way anything is being reduced in real sense otherwise coins are just changing hands and you're just speculating on an institution not selling thereby creating more scarcity — which isn't even guaranteed by the way.
