As we know block chain is one of the greatest invention on the internet so far ,according to my research they are three generation of blockchain which are the first generation blockchain ,second generation blockchain and the third generation blockchain.
The first generation was based on the Proof of work algorithm for transaction validation while the second blockchain technology use cases, by offering the administration of assets in general. In this generation anyone can issue shares on the blockchain. These shares may receive dividends and voting rights can be granted to owners of the shares but both architectures had extremely low energy efficiency and medium-low block validation speed and transactions per block.Solving the scalability, speed, and energy consumption the third generation of blockchain was introduced coming with different approaches and techniques like Proof of Stake validation algorithm, off-chain routing, graph chains, and complete or partial centralization. you can always read more about the first 3 generations of blockchain.
Introducing to you the 4th generation blockchain,the 4th generation blockchain brings this technology to a complete primary production application, and expand current business-oriented offer in terms of data storage, application decentralization, auditing, security, reliability.
