This an image taken in North West Australia where they mine Iron Ore and the trains carrying it can be up 5km long. The water in the fore ground is sea water pumped into these pans so it can eveporate and leave sea salt. It gets so hot there in summer that up to 50cm of water can evaporate in 24hrs. I have been there when it was 46 degrees C.
