In a similar fashion to early photograph journey video games, the game facets a verb record. The player characters are managed with the aid of building sentences by using clicking on verbs, characters and objects.
The game is performed similarly to early photo journey video games; it is seen from a third character perspective, with a view of the area taking up nearly all of the monitor, even as the bottom element is taken up through the participant's inventory and a record of verbs, similar to "use", "decide on up", and "speak to". With the aid of clicking on a verb followed by one or two gadgets or characters, the player character will try and participate in the action described.
An illustration given in the expose trailer was once "Use balloon animal with corpse", carried out by way of clicking on the verb "use", the "balloon animal" object in the participant's inventory, and a corpse observed in an area in the sport.
The game has five exceptional participant characters which the player can swap between in the core of gameplay, similarly to Maniac Mansion .
