Isn't it lovely to reminisce about happy times spent with your grandparents? Here are some of my favorite memories from my childhood with my grandparents where I've grown up.
My grandfather died when I was a little child, and we didn't even have cameras or phones as we do now, so we can't go back and reminisce about him; everything is just a jumble of recollections.
Sometimes I wish that I could have a time machine to meet him again and run into his lap like when I was a little girl. With my grandma, we still talked about that as there were some pieces of beautiful memories with him. My grandma reminded me of that time when I was a little girl, I asked a lot of attention from everyone, especially my grandpa, sometimes even too much, however, he still smiled gently and held me sweetly in his arm saying "my dear..."
My grandma is still living with us; she adores me and frequently keeps small gifts for me. She used to go to the market early in the morning before I got up and buy me some delicious cakes for breakfast when she was still strong. Even though I made mom run behind me all the time, I loved our spare time when she brought me out to visit neighbors and relatives. She was concerned that I would be injured by traffic or other dangers.
I used to be naughty when she wouldn't allow me to hang out with my friends or wouldn't buy me all of the lovely marble stones. She pictured me being kidnapped by nefarious strangers, getting ill from the sun, or swallowing marbles while playing, among other things. She had plenty of reasons to be concerned about me. That's my grandmother...she always looks after her children and grandchildren, but she doesn't look after herself...
It's been for a long time, the little girl has grown up, and her grandmother is becoming older and weaker ... now I'm sitting here, wishing to be loved by Grandma,... Grandma, I miss you!!!
When my grandmother's children and grandkids are around her, she smiles the most, especially on New Year's Day, when her children, nephews, and nieces gather to give wishes and lucky money. That was such a fantastic time! If you still have grandparents, please treat them with respect and love💓
