I was on my way from the office after close of work yesterday. I was so tired and famished and sluggishly walked to the bus stop waiting for a vehicle to board home. Few minutes after being on the spot, a Toyota corolla cab approached us and stopped. We all rushed to the vehicle shouting our various destinations but at last the driver told us the route he’s going. Two of us got into the car to join three already seated in the car.
Some minutes after we started the joining, I noticed that one of the passenger already in the vehicle((sitting beside me) was behaving funny and kept complaining of how tight the sitting position is. He keeps telling me “bros I beg shift a bit, please adjust a bit sir”. I was being my brother and keep shifting and adjusting not realizing what was going on.
I eventually got to my destination and alerted from the vehicle and paid the driver from the money I had in my breast pocket. Some second after the vehicle zoom off, I dripped my hand in my trouser pocket to retrieve my phone, surprisingly, it wasn’t there, my working place ID card, phone and some change all just disappeared. I was flabbergasted and depressed at my loss.
People, please be extra careful when next you board a vehicle especially a commercial one.
