Yes indeed by demonstrations. How much is one phone not hurting the economy vs a massive amount of people directly stopping their continued and crucial support of the economy. Even if they could surveillance everyone they couldn't do shit all with that information, not only because they don't have the manpower, but more importantly because these people don't strike me as people who are afraid of being watched.
