Many boxing fans, especially Americans and Mexicans, are amazed at the fighting by fighting Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman yesterday.
Even Pacquiao's closest friends like former Ilocos Sur governor and now Narvacan Mayor Luis "Chavit" Singson are also amazed not only in the course of the fight but also in the performance of the national's fist.
He said it was not expected that he would see his friend on the canvas as if it were without fear of colliding a large and sturdy wall like Thurman.
It is believed that Thurman's earlier statements, especially those of his ability to push the Filipino ring icon to show what and who really are the champion.
It is also believed that Thurman is one of the most difficult fighters of the Pinoy ring icon because apart from the taller it is compared to him, it is still younger than 10 years.
Despite this, his views still do not necessarily reflect the need for the senator's retirement to focus his attention on his being senator and his family.
