The Motocross of Nations has arrived!! wo0ho0!! The worlds best riders from each country will face each other in 3 classes across 2 days! MX2 250 Class, MXGP 450 Class and Open 250-450 Class.
the race this year is in my home country England at the Matterley Basin track, a 1.65km hard pack track in the green pastures of Winchester.
What better way to check out what the riders will be facing that to follow to of team GB's riders Dean Wilson and Tommy Searle round the track! Most of you will know of Dean Wilson from my USA Supercross and Motocross posts but don't discount Tommy!
Tommy Searle actually used to ride at my local motocross club so i will be following his progress this weekend for sure. He will be riding in the MX2 250 Class for the nations which is a step back from his current 450 bike. He is killer fast on the 250s though and it is arguable that he was more successful on it than he has been on the 450...
I will be doing many more updates as the weekend unfolds but lets sit back and check out the awesome Matterley Basin track which has had some new additions added for this years race :)
