The first inter-island bridge in Aceh was built in 2011, during the reign of Irwandi Yusuf - Muhammad Nazar, inaugurated by governor Zaini Abdullah on July 24, 2016, but until 2018 it still can not be crossed by a motorcycle, let alone a car.
