Me? I’m growing old disgracefully…

Well maybe not disgracefully but I am a tad unconventional.

Hi everyone and I’m super-excited to be here at last. This is my #introduceyourself AND my first post so I thought I’d give you an idea of what is to come.

I’m middle-aged, tall and redheaded. Like this:

Born and raised in the city of Bristol, UK, I have lived, worked and married in Ibiza but 3 months ago decided to move down to the south coast to fulfil my dream of having a sea view. Married twice, divorced twice and a mother twice I am now happily single and enjoying my own space.

A photographer by trade, I specialise in helping people learn to love the way they look and creating outstanding portraits and personal branding images. I work in Bristol, Dorset and London. In addition I work at weekends in the BEST shop in the world, which sells fine foods and the most incredible selection of gins.

I LOVE my work (both of them) but when I’m not working I will go to the beach and swim in the beautiful sea here. I have a fantastic camera phone (Huawei P20) and will drive along the stunning Jurassic Coast taking photos of the incredible views. Learning new skills in Photoshop and also video editing makes me happy as does listening to music. I worked at Glastonbury Festival last year – the experience of a lifetime

My writing is incredibly diverse. I write about my work and the people I photograph, gin, stories that I hear (such as The Order of The Stool), things that I observe (the seagulls called Dilys and Jack who live on the roof opposite), human nature, mother nature, The Jurassic Coast like this one taken from my apartment: 37808083_10156927509784245_7768251444980875264_o.jpg

Little England and particularly self-image. I am slightly left-leaning and a staunch anti-Brexiter.

I’m looking to following you and hope you enjoy my writing. J
