It's Sunday morning, I'm just done from taking a bath, then I saw my mother crying.

Me: What's wrong mother? Please don't cry.

It's the first time I saw her crying alone. It hurts me seeing her crying. I don't have any malicious intentions on what I've said.

Mother: Please don't tell me that. There's no more hope in my mother's condition. You will never know how I feel because you're not in my situation.

I stopped, and instead of giving her a hug, I left and let her cry. It might be what she needs. Also, an anxious thought came to my head. I will never want to be in her situation. I'll never want to lose her. I prayed that my mother will live longer. That anxiety went on until time passed by. I realized it's been my fear even when I was a child.

Months later, my grandmother passed away. I can see how devastated my mother was, but she tried to be strong. What she wanted is unity within her siblings. But too bad, things didn't turn out well eventually.
