A huge explosion took place inside the Chittagong sea port of Bangladesh killing around 40+ people (till now) and many severe injuries.

Chittagong fire incident ~ A humanitarian crisis unfolding right now
馃敽At least 15 fire units are working in the depot where the fire broke out. The containers at the depot have hazardous material in them which has catalyzed the fire. The fire unit is struggling to control the fire. This is very much a live incident and the flames are raging through the depot till now.
馃敽More than 250 injured people have been taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) - the hospital is now struggling for space since all available beds are already filled up
馃敽Chittagong Civil Surgeon has already requested all doctors and nurses to immediately report to duty to address this potential humanitarian disaster
馃敽All ambulances have been requested to be deployed in Sitakundu - the depot where the fire broke out
馃敽Volunteers have been requested to help out with blood donation - if you鈥檙e able to donate blood, this is the time to head out towards CMCH and contact the blood banks there
馃敽3 confirmed dead, more casualties expected due to the nature of the burn injuries. Most are 90-95% burned and are missing limbs.
This has the potential to be one of the worst fire incidents in the country鈥檚 history.

I wish the souls of those killed in the horrific explosion at the BM container depot in Sitakunda, Chittagong, forgiveness and sympathy to those who were injured. I urge the voluntary organizations and common people of Chittagong to come forward to help the victims. I heard that a lot of blood is needed. Come on everyone. Your little help, a bag of blood might save a life, a family may laugh.
And everyone and all the voluntary organizations stand by them with these emergency medicines.
We are very advanced, but yet we don't have a fire extinguisher in a chemical factory,
Even if many factories in the country catch fire, it will end in an instant.
If there was a law, there would be no such thing. Not every factory means ETP. The rest of the rules, a lot of equipment called fire extinguishers are seen.
Even with bribes, many such factories are being set up in a few days
Many will say it is the fault of the government, I will say it is our own fault.
