First of all, I had no idea that there is a translation of Murakami available in Bengali. But what do I know?!
My knowledge of Bengal in 20 years detached. But both Linco and Sakib says that it is not difficult to find translations. Actually people do translations fairly cheaply. Likely this is a translation from English, which is a translation. So I am glad you still found the essence there... as it is hard to get lost in translation, especially on Murakami.
He is one of my fav author. I have now read a vast majority of his work. Currently I am reading Killing Commendatore and After Dark simultaneously.
