Your lunar craters are vertically exaggerated models... they are gorgeous. You can even see the radial ejecta... very nice!
Impact events always fascinated me. I remember when I first touched the Iridium layer corresponding to the K-T mass extinction near Raton, Colorado! Imagine how far Colorado is from Yucatán Impact site in Mexico!
These craters are similar impact events.
By the way, that’s the way they look under the microscope
