Pixel Forest and Worry Will Vanish
I had no idea about who Pipilotti Rist before 2pm today! I was driving to Texas Art Supply to purchase some watercolor for my older daughter so that she can work on her class project. We saw the sign by the Houston Museum of Fine Arts: Pixel Forest and Worry will Vanish; and we were both sold immediately, without know what it is, just through the name! Life is sometimes that way! I am so glad I went.

To me it was like opening a window or a portal to a new dimensions! Before 2pm today, I had no idea about this dimension and now I do. The MFAH exhibit is grand, dark and bright at the same time, immersive and relaxing. In this beautiful open space they have put in plush carpeting, end to end, giant high resolution projection playing Rist's surrealist visual on the wall. You lie down and relax over the bean bags placed for you and feel immersed into this world. No picture or video can replicate the experience.
My daughter and I spend about 30 min inside the exhibit, majority of the time lying down on the floor and watched the world around us disappear. What an out of the world experience!
