By now all Splinterlands players must be aware of the success of the first Auction card created and launched by the team: Heloise the Hollow! I am calling her HTH for a while now. It is a auction that happens every 25 hours, and every 20th is a gold foil. We just finished the 20th and the first gold foil auction. Congrats to @cryptomancer for winning the GF HTH for a whopping 14 Million DEC. If I plot that on this chart of regular foils below it will mess the chart up, so that is saved for a different chart later.
So, this above is the sold price of the first 19 cards. The reason, I plotted it this way to show the absolute minimum price, which is 1,050,000 DEC, marked by the dashed yellow line; and also the 'floor' price, which you can call the base of the most common price, which is the green dashed line at 1,320,000 DEC.
Not surprisingly, the spread is fairly low, and the average is very close of 1,320,000; the price that I paid for my second copy :) This is very standard, as I was trying to control the floor of this auction, and so far looks like I have been rather successful! The reason to do this, is if you don't then many bad actors, and trust me there are always a lot of bad actors, who will try and snipe a copy at a relatively low price. So I have decided that I am not going to let that happen. My job is easier now, as 20 copies have been sold, and now many owners of the HTH will feel the same way I feel, and they won't let people to get one at cheap prices.
HTH is an exclusive card, so cough up top dollars!
Here is all 20, with the last one obviously GF with the 14M DEC bid from Mancer. There is no way to set floor easily for GF, as there is so little data. However, I assumed 5X the RF as a floor, and I have been able to maintain it. As time goes on, I am sure other winners will take the responsibility of maintaining the floor.
PS: Thank you Tehox | Splintercards.com for the data
