Today is Feb 15, 2021. I want to start this post with a date, as I mostly write these posts for myself and I want to remember this date. Today my favorite crypto Hive broke out! With daily volume of 78 Million at Binance it broke out! Now, I understand you shouldn't be too proud about our own kid, and 34 cents is not much in terms of price, for real world projects. Yeah, I get all that! And, belive me, I know that we can go down tomorrow or day after, I don't have a clue. But I also know we traded 78 Million today at Binance, and 230M in total as per coinmarketcap below. And that is not random, or fluke. That kind of volume will invite interest from many people. That's the way crypto project work.
For months we were not in the top 200, but today, we are the 165th project. Our volume increase is 1400% today. Today is the day to celebrate!
I have been holding Hive all powered up from the day of its inception (and all during our steem days). Today, I did absolutely nothing in terms of trading. I do not plan on powering down or sell any hive. Today, I read, I manually curated a few authors, like I do daily. I follow Curangel projects trail on auto-vote. Our curators must have selected some excellent posts, which by following the trail I voted. I will continue to do this as long as it takes. I earn substantial amount of hive (about 100 hive/day) as payment from 3 curation projects (Curangel, Qurator, and OCD). I appreciate the effort of those curators. I play two blockchain games regularly, Rabona and Splinterlands, and I appreciate those game developers. I am posting this writeup from LeoFinance, where not only I post regularly but I also participate in the uniswap LP. I am thankful to the project managers and developers at LeoFinance. Also, I am thankful to all core hive developers, witnesses and community members, a lot of them I support directly, and others indirectly. I am thankful to all your hard work. There are several DHF proposals I support, many I lobbied for, I am thankful for their effort. There are numerous friends I interact on the chain every day, I am thankful for your friendship.
In terms of price, I have no idea. But I will take Ash's word for it :) Personally I do not predict price. For my brand of trading, I don't need to predict price. Plus Hive I do not trade. I am holding this for many years and I will continue to hold regardless of price.
In terms of projects, there are several new things in the horizon. 
There are many items happening on the core development side, that is too many to list here, so I am not going to try. Point is there are many good things in the horizons and if we don't screw up big, we should be very successful. Let us chill and have fun today!
