I guess so. But it could also be because Steem isn't like other social platforms and is still relatively new. It might be because of technical reasons or something else, all unknown to us, so I don't wanna make any assumptions right now.

But it's also true that 2 weeks is still a lot of time. If I remember correctly, the wait period was even longer (3 weeks) when I joined. So that's still progress. Very slow one, but progress nonetheless.
