Sounds similar to where I live! Except it does cool down in the evening and at night, but if you go south a lil ways to Phoenix then it's hot as heck like that and still hot at night, the roads around here boil in the summer heat and you can literally cook food on them it's so hot. I used to like it when I was younger but these days I prefer the cooler temperatures.

Lol that's hilarious. I think I've seen some videos where people literally make omelette using only the sun's direct heat. That's just straight-up crazy. I too prefer the colder temperatures more. To be more specific, the kind of weather you see before it rains. That's like the perfect weather for me. Makes me feel more alive for some reason.

Dang... That sounds a bit rough... I sure am lucky I live in a place with a good supply of water, we have our own well and it's super clean and good quality and I'm very fortunate and grateful.

Yeah... I was just thinking how I really take it for granted sometimes. I need to focus on being more grateful and appreciative cause many people would really like to be in my situation. Right as I say that I hear someone turn on the hose to water plants and I just think... Man some people can't even get enough water but here people have so much they water gardens, and I'm not talking about food gardens that supply what we need, but just grass and flowers and stuff like that, that looks nice.

I can't really blame anyone for wanting to live around a little greenery. The need to live in beautiful environments is real and often not taken into consideration by architects and engineers. But yeah, you do make a good point. Some people don't get water to drink and some have enough to water their gardens.

That's awesome... Even if they don't have enough of some things we have an abundance of at least they still have heart and their humanity which I think is super important and too often lacking in the industrialized world.

Exactly. The modern world is becoming more individualistic day after day, while these villages thrive off of living as a community.

Some wise thoughts and good points there... The developing world still needs so much help, imagine if people spent less time watching TV and movies and playig video games and spent more time trying to help people who are still struggling so much? The world would be such a better place in my opinion.

True, but again, I can't blame these people for wanting to enjoy their time. But I think recently I've been seeing more people wanting to volunteer for non-profits and such. Maybe our generation is becoming more aware. I would love to do some volunteer work myself. Not only are you helping the environment, but you're also making new connections with other people.

Well said! And awesome job breaking it down. It was really fascinating and humbling to learn about Rajasthan and your thoughts and journey there. Money is certainly an issue for me right now but maybe someday in the future if that changes I can visit and see it for myself. PS... Your competitor in the tie breaker round got his entry in, but it was I think 5 days past the deadline of when he was supposed to. I feel like I should ask you what you think about that? Do you want to give him a pass and let him continue on normally? Or do you want to object and think he should be disqualified from that round? Usually, we do a vote on these kinds of things, but I think the direct competitor has the biggest say, and if you're okay with him continuing then we will let him, and if you're not okay with it... We probably won't and you'll likely get an automatic win for that round.

Hmmm. I think we should let him compete. Even though two weeks was enough time, I can still understand that he was on an adventure and might not have gotten the time to sit behind a computer/laptop.

More importantly, what good is a winner if he had no one to compete with, right? I think we should let him in. If I'm meant to win, I will. If not, he probably deserved it more than me anyway. But regardless, his entry deserves a second chance.
