After much effort, I finally complete these two paintings. These are third and fourth in the 'Fragmented' series and the idea for first two came very naturally to me and creating them was a pure exploration. With these I knew I was doing them to extend the series and it was sort of repetition with different color so it wasn't exactly a true exploration and hence I was struggling.
Yesterday, I decided that I wanted to complete them because even before these I use to see an idea to an end even if in the process I felt it wasn't going right because I feel with artworks, the composition matters a lot and that can only be evaluated after finishing. Hence, I decided to see these two through and I am happy for that alone.
I do like the Violet gradation and I'm not so happy with the Yellow Green and Orange gradient.
