While all things mountainous catch my attention, there is something about the top of a mountain that bring this sense of accomplishment. Something about hiking from the bottom and taking step after step and getting out on top that brings a bit of adrenaline. Then after working to get to the top, the silence that overcomes as the calm of the mountains engulf me and I am able to see what I conquered that day. Those are the moments that I work for.
