Varadero, the aphrodisiac beach of the Cubans. One of the best beaches on the island and I am lucky to be able to visit it often. I have been there a few times since I was a child and I never get tired of stepping on its fine sand, each trip has been a new experience and the last time I went there is not far behind.

He ido unas cuantas veces desde niña y nunca me canso de pisar su arena tan fina, cada viaje ha sido una experiencia nueva y la última vez que fui no se queda atrás.
After being locked up for more than a year at home because of the pandemic by the COVID-19 I spent 3 days in a hotel called Brisas del Caribe, besides enjoying its all-inclusive service, its nightly shows we could not stop visiting the fish. I am a few months away from graduating from Biology, and I am specializing in marine biology, so this experience was the ultimate for me, it was to feel in my environment, we traveled by catamaran offshore, they put us life jackets and gave us the equipment for a free dive.
Luego de estar encerrada por más de un año en casa a causa de la pandemia por la COVID-19 estuve 3 días en un hotel llamado Brisas del Caribe, además de disfrutar de su servicio todo incluido , de sus espectáculos nocturnos no pudimos dejar de largo realizar la visita a los peces. Yo estoy a unos meses de graduarme de Biología, y estoy especializándome en la biología marina, así que esta experiencia era lo máximo para mi, era sentirme en mi ambiente, viajamos en catamaran mar adentro, nos ponían salvavidas ademas de darnos los equipamientos para un buceo libre.
We fed hundreds of fish, they surrounded you and touched you to the point that you felt cornered between so many of them next to you. My sister-in-law was very afraid of them and so was my mom and they stayed on top of the catamaran, meanwhile I continued living the dream, until what I never expected happened, I ended up being bitten by one of those fish on the finger of my hand, I was scared by the bad impression I got when I felt the bite and saw the blood on my hand. At that moment I thought that everything happened to me and that I had very bad luck and only in the pain that I felt I laughed a lot because in the end it is an anecdote that I had to tell.
Dábamos de alimentar a cientos de peces para nada chiquitos, te rodeaban y tocaban al punto de sentirte acorralada entre tantos de ellos a tu lado. Mi cuñada les tenía mucho miedo al igual que mi mamá y se quedaron arriba del catamaran, mientras tanto yo seguía viviendo el sueño, hasta que paso lo que nunca me esperé, termine siendo mordida por uno de esos peces en el dedo de la mano, me asuste por la mala impresión que me dio sentir el mordisco y al ver la sangre en mi mano. En ese momento pensé que todo me sucedía a mi y que tenía muy mala suerte y solo dentro del dolor que sentí me reía bastante porque al final es una anécdota que tenía para contar.
