I like to play games. As I grew up in the 90s, I witnessed games evolving to what it is today. My first game I played was Wolfenstien 3D, it came along with the PC my parents bought. I was six at the time and too young to be playing that game since I didn't know what most of it meant. I was just shooting at people that were shooting at me. I was scared, nervous, and became addicted to games.
I do still play games occasionally, and I am happy to see what gaming has become.

Imagine how it would feel with 20+ million people watching your every move. Which made me think of the growth in Esports.

Looking at the stocks related to esports they are all doing pretty well these days

  • ATVI
  • AMD
  • EA
  • NVDA
  • TTWO
  • Riot Games was bought by Tencent, earned just over half its $1.7 billion in second-quarter revenue from its games division
  • Twitch Interactive acquired by Amazon
  • Valve running as a private company.

My question is, what the growth potential of esports?
