It's really common to add sugar in coffee. That's why when I order, before I pay, I'm telling the barista not to add sugar on my Americano before. But now, coffee shops have improved here. They know already the customers' preferences, they'll just point where you could find the sugar packets if you wanna add sugar to your coffee.
