SLP
Let's face it, the chart looks like shit, and I think it's unlikely that the reversal will happen anytime soon. When you spot the patterns it becomes easier to digest what's happening. The majority of the players were dumping #SLP on the market, thus added an additional pressure on the exchanges. When such a pressure is followed by the massive dump in whole crypto space, it becomes utterly obvious what's coming next. There's a good chance #SLP continues to fall down in a death spiral until token dynamics are changed completely.
I was thinking a lot about it and I came to a conclusion that current economic model is definitely not sustainable, not even if they ad irrelevant sinks. For the most part it's because the majority is still here without any vision, without any genuine interest in the platform, they are here for the sole purpose of dumping everything they can earn in a short period of time. Sure, there 's a lot of honest and hardworking people, but it's time for us to confront with the fundamental issues rather then blame on anyone else.
By the time the community adds additional sinks (outside the game itself), there's a good chance #Axieinfinity will lose a decent amount of players - which doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing though.
Imagine if everyone on #Hive got a guarantee they'll earn approximately $300USD worth of #Hive, that's completely liquid, regardless of how much value they provide. I'm giving myself the right to assume that #Hive would lose 70% of the value in 3 months period. There's no such thing as free lunch. You either have to provide tremendous value, or you have to be exceptionally good at something to earn anything - under the assumption you haven't invested any money.
The changes might turn down a lot of players, but the real OGs will stay and build until there's more sustainable way of paying everyone.
How can The Community Help?
To begin with, we're the ones who're (to a degree) responsible for adding the value to something we're stakeholders off. It's just dumb to rely on a single entity to do everything for us. That's the whole idea of blockchain technology and DAOs in the first place. Kinda triggering when you realize that the majority doesn't know shit about this space and yet feels entitled to rewards, and not only that, they complain and point fingers towards everyone but themselves.
Time to build fellas, bitching around won't help, that's the only axiom in this game.
Jesus, is it that hard to dig and accumulate knowledge before investing either time or energy into something?
I feel frustrated by the fact that idiots wanted to speculate on #SLP, without knowing it's real utility, and when they got burned, everyone else are to be blamed for it.... Don't play with things you don't understand, it's simple as that.
Our time is definitely closer then you think, we know what to do but still don't know how to do it, once we figure this out, the sky's the limit.
Going further, I imagined September might look like this, theoretically speaking October should be the first month when crypto starts surging in value. If we repeat 2017 the pump will be so strong we'll shit our pants. This is obviously not a financial advice, however, I wouldn't sell anything before x10 happens, and even then, 50% of my portfolio will be in crypto.
I trust you guys more then I trust the system.
