It is the end of the week again and its time to share this weeks Weekly Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - Underdog Victories. In here i wanna share an underdog victory against one of the most dominant player specially in gold league when i starting playing splinterland. You know that one win out of hundred losses makes you proud specially when you are newbie.
This battle is 41 mana battle with armored up and wands out ruleset against one of the most dominant gold league player . If you started playing in 2021-2022 you know this in game name ula.ocean, winning against him even once amongst hundred losses makes you smile. In this battle my opponent uses cryptic as his archon with djinn oshannus, argarux magus, baron fyatt, anash sothsayer, captain fellblade and doctor blight. While my team is lead by eternal tofu as my archon with temporal master, spirit hoarder, djinn renova, iziar, olivia the brook and doctor blight as team members. My strategy in here is to benefit from eternal tofus scavenger and triage to olivia the brook and an additional boost from iziar martyr ability that when it is defeated, adjacent units gain +1 to all stats. And also to prolong iziar life the team is supported with addional triage from djinn renova and spirit hoarder. My team weakness is the first position temporal master not as great as djinn oshannus but i have a great last position doctor blight same as my opponent for its poison, scavenge and affliction ability. With this strategy if the game takes too long then my olivia the brook will be the last standing having absorb most of all the abilities specially as the round goes on.

Round 1 and round 2 it is almost my opponent and my team has not incured so much damage and still no units had been illuminated. As you can see my team member temporal master, spirit hoarder, djinn renova, iziar, olivia the brook and doctor blighg are still doing fine . Also my opponent team member djinn oshannus, argarux magus, baron fyatt, anasth soothsayer, captain fellblade and doctor blight are also doing just fine.
My opponent is already ahead of the game as my opponent illuminated my weakest unit temporal master. So now i have 4 units against my opponent 5 units but still the battle must go on.
Looks like my opponent is ahead already as one of my team member spirit hoarder was been illuminated. Now i got 4 units against my opponent 6 unts . My opponent tank needs to be illuminated.
This round i got my first kill that i manage to illuminate my opponents captain fellblade. So now i got 4 units against my opponent 5 units. My opponent is still ahead.
At round 8 lookslike my opponent already has a guaranteed win as his team illuminated my djinn renova and iziar. Now i got 2 units remaining against my opponent 5 units.
Look at my olivia the brook she got only 1 health left. Once olivia the brook is killed i already loss the battle specially my opponent still has 5 units. My opponent tank djinn oshannus is really a formidable magic tank.
What happen did i survive round 11 to round 20 and olivia the brook has more health than round 10 and my opponent still has 5 unit compared to my 2 unit.
With this round and fatique starts my opponent was unlucky as his argarux magus was been illuminated.
My opponent loss another team member via fatique. So now still got 2 units compared to my opponent 3 . Still my opponent is ahead.
This round my opponent got another fatique victim and we are now even with 2 unit versus 2 unit.
Ohooo hooo hooo, what i won the olivia the brook that almost got killed at round 10 has survive so many rounds and hold the lines.
Now the smiles got changes hands.
In this battle that at first you thought you loss but at the end, the tide changes and you snatch the victory against a formidabble opponent. WHAT A WIN....
