Christmas is fast approaching, people are making a lot of plans for this joyous occasion. Flights have been booked, concert tickets sold out, and decorations beautifully made. Those in the diaspora return home to be with their families and friends.
Gifts are going to be given out, the less privileged are going to feel loved and a lot of carols will be heard.
Christmas to me has always been about having fun and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
In the past, On Christmas day, 25th December, we went to church, then after church came back home and prepared various meals. Family and friends arrived with gifts and treats. We ate together and play games. We saw Christmas movies, and ended the day by listening to Christmas carols.
On the 26th, boxing day we sometimes went to different fun places or visited other friends.
We spent some time with the orphans and spread love and positivity.
This year, I don't think I have any plans. With this hot economy and lots of hardships, I don't think Christmas will be the same. I'll just go to church have a get together with the church members, go home and eat some more, and follow my parents around wherever they go.
