It was dinner time when we decided to talk about whatever was happening in the world now, rulers, all sorts of murders, deaths, and all disasters.
My brother sat there quietly: when he was asked why he was quiet he said, "If we all had love, this world would be a lovely place to be in but unfortunately that's not the case".
What do we even mean when we talk about love?
Do we know what love is, or do we profess to know it?
Love is patient, Love is kind, Love is not jealous, love does not brag, love is not proud, love is not rude, love is not selfish, love is longsuffering, love is forgiving and forgetful, love is always happy with the truth, love never gives up on people, love never loses hope, love never quits, love never ends.
That is love. Do we have this kind of love?
Are we kind or gentle, are we forgiving?
How I wish we all had this kind of love. Think about it, In our world today, no one cares about their fellow. We go by doing things that will suit only us not caring about how it will affect people whether negatively or positively as long as it suits us, then that's fine.
What happened to being our brothers keeper?
We claim to love while we do the opposite. Because of this the world has become a living hell.
Robbery all over, killings everywhere. We all live in fear. You don't feel safe in your own home not to talk about your country.
You lie down uncertain about whether you'll be alive the next minute. Because one moment, everywhere is calm, in the next, bombs and bullets are flying.
No one loves anymore, no one cares anymore
Oh, if we all had just an ounce of love, imagine how happy this place will be. There will be less people in the street, less poverty, less greed, less anxiety and worry, less suicide, more smiles, more joy, more laughter and more peace.
Let us all endeavor to love, let's be forgiving and think of others, let's learn to sacrifice, let's end hate and let's begin a love trend.
