The trees dance to the rhythm of the winds, the birds mourn in great sorrow.
The sun shines regardless, allowing mixed feelings to saturate the atmosphere.
I am still in this still moment, not taking a step or moving an inch.
My heart skips beats as as I linger, not knowing what to do.
Outside is the laughter of the kids whose parents are mourning with the birds.
These kids know nothing and live in carefree glee.
What tingles the fox barely moves the lion and this life isn't balance.
I take a moment to meditate but meditation is in itself a torture as I can't lift a foot.
I'm still keeping still.
So the night breaks away from day, as if it's been held in bondage for all these years and signals the dawn of great sorrow and anguish.
But I still keep still, trusting in the One above.
If He's kept me till now, He'll favour my then.
It's all in His plans and my heart forever trusts in Him.
