Much is Expected from this Generation with all The Advancement But Why?

If we are indeed looking for a generation that has seen massive changes in every aspect of our lives, of course, this generation will be the one to reckon with.
From the way we dress, eat, and interact, We've seen changes in our education and our health care, not to mention technological advancements. With all these beautiful things happening around us, we still battle with some common manners, manners that were very common among our elders in the past.

Why am I saying this or making this allegation? It is very sad the kind of things we hear on our news every day. Just yesterday, in our local news, a hospital in Ghana sold a corpse to some unknown strangers, and the family of the deceased brought up the matter on Oyerepa radio to demand justice. Today also brought about a man who impregnated his 12-year-old daughter and tried to abort the pregnancy. It is not that he and his wife are no more; they stay together and have been doing this in his wife's absence.
Well, we hear so many things worse than this, but I always ask myself, Is this the kind of change we want to see around? People are taking advantage of the internet to do marvelous things, while others are misusing it.
With all the opportunities around us, we still battle with simple manners, and that always lands us in trouble.

The youth have been blessed enough to make things happen. We don't have to own a shop or a market before we can start a business; the internet has created a medium by which we can start a business and own a shop online.
Not only that, making transactions has become so easy for us, unlike in the past, where one would have to travel some miles to the bank before he could send or receive their money.

I believe if we have a little twist to the way we do things of late, we will have a very beautiful future to enjoy.
