What a splendid day it is to unveil my very first charcoal drawing to all of you! This piece was crafted on chillboard paper , which contributed an intriguing texture that truly captivated my artistic spirit. I embarked on this journey by setting a challenge for myself: to sketch the model well, using a delicate charcoal . As I laid down the base sketch, I then introduced a light to the composition with bold strokes of burnt umber, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. The entire process unfolded in just 50 min, which was an exhilarating experience that left me buzzing .
