At first I was going to have to wait until next year to start taking college classes. I missed the deadline that they had set for the Act so I was just going to wait and take it next year. My local college called me two weeks ago and asked if I wanted to start taking classes, I told them yes and then explained my situation. They pushed my college application through and had me take a placement test two days ago. I was able to get a high enough grades in English, Math, and writing to start taking classes this fall. I will be taking Academic Life Strategies, Transitional College Writing, and Student Orientation. I told myself that if I made it into college I would buy myself something, so I went to Aaron’s (rental place) and put a payment down on a new laptop.
My previous laptop was dying very quickly and would take 30 minutes, sometimes even longer to start up so I knew that it was about time to get a new one. I’ve been spending today getting it set up and ready for classes. I wanted to thank everyone who has been supporting me on this journey!!! Everyone have a good and safe day!!
