Read a Sci-Fi story many years ago where in a City , you are the Mayor ,one day, Railway Porter ,the next, and so on. Everyone gets to try out each possible role , one day at a time! That would be a bit awkward , if you were a Policeman one day, and the fellow in jail ,the next?
