One of the summary points stated, "We shall not grow wiser before we learn that much that we have done was very foolish." In our country, have people tried to hide history? If so, is this harmful for the future?

Why would they believe this if socialism ultimately turns countries into ruin?"We cannot blame our young men when they prefer the safe,
salaried position to the risk of enterprise after they have heard from their earliest youth the former described as the superior, more unselfish and disinterested occupation." Today, do you think there are more people who partake in enterprise rather than salaried positions? If so, why or why not?
