If you are confident in your political stance, you don't need to resort to violence. Persuasion and reason in a peaceful discussion are enough in the environment of a free market of ideas. Let the listeners decide which view is on the side of logic. Only those who are insecure and cowardly resort to the use of force. The banning of social media in Nepal to prevent corruption exposure of the state, and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, are just recent examples of people holding bad ideas resorting to violence.
