It doesn't come out well in the picture, but there is epoxy on the top. Coverage was thin in some areas. We'll see how it levels out and go over any low spots with whatever is left.

I used Glaze Coat by Famwood. It says it's equal to 70 coats of varnish.

Ideally you would put this on a super smooth surface. My table is not smooth at all. I don't think this covered nearly as much surface area as it should. It would probably be a good idea to buy another package and lay more coats down, but this whole table is an experiment and skill building exercise.

Anyway, I think there's a kitten crying outside. I'm going to go check that out.
